Embark on a flavorful culinary journey in this hands-on class, where you’ll create three delectable Thai-inspired dishes:
Tom Kha Gai (Thai Coconut Chicken Soup)
Participants learn to prepare this fragrant, creamy soup by simmering tender chicken in coconut milk infused with galangal, lemongrass, and kaffir lime leaves.
The class highlights how to achieve the perfect harmony of flavors with lime juice, fish sauce, and a touch of chili for spice.
Garnishing with fresh cilantro and mushrooms adds depth to the dish.
Shrimp Fried Rice (Khao Pad Goong)
This popular Thai street food dish teaches participants how to stir-fry jasmine rice to achieve a slightly crispy texture.
Fresh shrimp, eggs, garlic, and Thai seasonings such as oyster sauce and soy sauce bring the dish to life.
Tips on getting the right wok heat and garnishing with fresh cucumber slices and lime wedges are shared.
Thai Bubble Tea (Cha Nom Yen with Tapioca Pearls)
The class ends on a sweet note with a refreshing Thai bubble tea, where participants brew strong Thai tea, mix it with condensed milk, and sweeten it to taste.
The lesson includes preparing chewy tapioca pearls and achieving the perfect creamy consistency.
Goy will guide you step by step, sharing tips and techniques to elevate your cooking skills and ensure your dishes shine. Whether you're a seasoned cook or a beginner, you'll leave with new knowledge, delicious recipes, and the confidence to bring authentic Thai flavors into your kitchen.
