Balsamic Glazed Pecans (Sue May’s Favorite)

Ingredients :

Non stick spray (olive oil, vegetable oil, etc )

1/4 cup (packed) brown sugar

1T olive oil

1T balsamic vinegar - any flavor will work

! 1/2 cup Pecan halves - generous measurements , depending on the how sweet you want them to be

Spray sheet of foil with nonstick spray. Stir sugar, 1T oil and 1T vinegar in heavy med skillet over medium heat until sugar melts and syrup bubbles (about 3 min) . Mix in pecans. Stir until nuts are toasted and syrup coats nuts evenly, about 7 min. Turn nuts onto prepared foil Using fork, separate nuts and cool completely (coating will harden). Use in salads or makes a great snack.
